why this logomark?
The letter "G":
The Letter G: Represents "Glorious", an easily identifiable image that speaks to the church and where it's headed. The concentric nature of the image is designed to intentionally evoke a sense of agreement in the image.
The torch:
The Torch: Fire is an old testament symbol of the "Glory" of God ... The torch would often be lit and held up in front of the armies of Israel to ensure that everyone was going the same direction.
the rounded square:
The Rounded Square: Jesus Christ established the church to reach the world and lead the world to a straight path ... John, The Baptist, speaks these words "make straight a path for the Lord". The rounded corners serve to remind the viewer that the message of the church while corrective in nature is also harmless and presents no harm.
